Why Volunteer?

The rewards of being a OLL summer camp volunteer are immeasurable: you can be directly involved in changing someone’s life, you may meet your new best friend or future band-mate, you will learn new skills, and get job experience. Out Loud Louisville is looking for instrument instructors, band coaches, band managers, camp counselors, workshop leaders, lunch crew members, gear crew members, showcase assistants, and more.

The positions are flexible– from 2 hour increments to participating all week long, to helping behind the scenes on so many of the tasks that make camp happen! We welcome volunteers of all genders, but limit the direct instructional roles to women and gender non-conforming individuals.

You can read through the volunteer job descriptions to get an idea of what being involved with OLL programs is like.

If you’re new to volunteering with OLL, apply here!

Any workshop proposals can be submitted using this form.
