At Adult Rock Camp, you will have an opportunity to learn how to play an instrument (guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, vocals), form a band, compose an original song and perform live in front of family and friends - all in just four days at La La Land Studio!

OLL brings in musicians from the community to guide you on your musical path. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has felt like they missed their chance to play an instrument or maybe just didn’t know where to start. But seasoned musicians are also welcome to join the fun! Regardless of your musical background, you are guaranteed to meet new people, rock out and maybe (hopefully!) even learn something about yourself.

• Thursday May 14th & Friday May 15th from 4:30-9 p.m.

• Saturday May 16th 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

• Sunday May 17th: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Showcase at 6 p.m.

Adult Rock Camp is for all MaGes (marginalized genders)! That means any cis woman, trans woman, trans man, nonbinary person or other gender expansive or gender non-conforming individual over the age of 18 is welcome to join us and rock out! There is absolutely no musical experience necessary, but those who have it are also invited to join. We will provide all gear, but you're also welcome to bring your own instrument or gear if you prefer.

Who can participate?

Tuition for Adult Rock Camp will be on a sliding scale of $100-300, based on how much you are able to contribute, with a nonrefundable $25 deposit to secure your spot. We also provide payment plans if needed. All proceeds go directly to funding Adult Rock Camp and supporting future Out Loud Louisville programming. 

It is very important that participants commit to attend all sessions of the program and the showcase. If you are unable to attend the full camp, we ask that you consider applying again another time.
